This site is approximately 15,000 sf in size, and is located along River Road at the southerly gateway to New Hope Borough.  Situated within a narrow portion of land between the Delaware River Canal and a canal outlet, this project consisted of the redevelopment of the famous Chez Odette’s.  It also involved relocating the original historic stone structure approximately 900 feet north, to a property at the corner of New Street and River Road, to be used as an Interpretive Center.

The River House at Odette’s now consists of a multi-story building with Hotel, Banquet and Restaurant facilities, including 36 hotel rooms, seating for approximately 300 restaurant guests and over 4,000 sf of banquet space.  While much of the parking is provided off-site via valet services, approximately 50 spaces are provided on-site, with a mix of surface parking and structured parking located under the building.  Van Cleef provided survey services, site layout designs, and land development plans as well as landscape architectural and site lighting services.
