Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC (Van Cleef) is a dynamic, multi‐disciplined firm of Engineers, Certified Inspectors, Landscape Architects, Planners and Land Surveyors. Founded in 1972 by Neil I Van Cleef, Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC has successfully served private and public clients with a broad spectrum of professional engineering services and surveying solutions for nearly 50 years.

O’Donnell Stanton & Associates (OSA) was acquired by Van Cleef in 2016 to expand its services into Ocean County New Jersey. OSA has emphasized professional planning and engineering services to government agencies since its incorporation in 1989. Located in Toms River, New Jersey, OSA serves municipal, county and private clients. The integration of in-house planning, civil engineering, survey, water and wastewater, and inspection resources allows the office to offer expert and diverse services to its clients.

Our team provides expertise in all of the major areas of municipal and civil engineering. Headquartered in Hillsborough, New Jersey, Van Cleef has 10 regional offices strategically located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and employs more than 200 professionals and technical support staff.

Founder

Neil I Van Cleef is the Founder and a Managing Director of Van Cleef Engineering Associates, LLC. Since the firm was founded in 1972, Neil has had overall responsibility for management of the firm, and was the prime visionary in the firm’s growth from a single office in 1972 to more than 200 people today. Neil led the movement to provide sewers to many rural areas, creating better water quality and allowing development of these areas. Neil is a licensed Professional Engineer, a licensed Professional Surveyor in the State of New Jersey, and remains active in the firm today.
