Van Cleef provided Project Management and Construction Inspection for a Scrub Seal/Chip Seal Pavement Pilot Program. This project is a Pavement Preservation Project. Project limits are from MP 0.77 TO 7.68 (B), including travel lanes, shoulders, and small turf repairs along the edge of
the shoulders. Pavement Recommendations included no milling and pave with chip seal over scrub seal application. Ramps are included within the project limits and will be milled and paved with HMA surface course. The tunnel within the project limit is excluded from the above treatment.

Work included Micro-milling/scrub sealing Longitudinal joint repair and full depth concrete pavement repair, HMA paving, RPM installation and traffic striping.

Tree removal, turf repair and inlet construction were also added to this project.
