Van Cleef was contracted by the Northern Burlington Regional School District to provide design services related to a multi-phase expansion school building and new parking lot. The district continues to experience rapid growth which required the expansion of the high school and parking lot to accommodate current and future student needs and the Board of Education Offices.

The proposed design included a new parking lot at the rear of the school, improvements to pedestrian circulation, geometry revisions to accommodate car and bus turning movements and stacking for student drop-off and pick-up.

To handle the additional impervious surfaces, a detailed stormwater management design was performed utilizing and underground detention basin.

Additional design included parking lot lighting, landscaping, sanitary sewer service, water service, ADA accessible routes, and electrical service.

As part of Van Cleef’s contract, approvals were obtained from the Mansfield Township Planning Board, Burlington County Soil Conservation District, New Jersey American Water and PSE&G.
