Van Cleef was contracted by William Penn School District to provide engineering services for the Penn Wood High School Green Avenue Campus modernization project. The project includes the renovation of the existing 142,000-square-foot school building and the construction of a new three-story addition with an approximately 65,000-square-foot footprint. This major investment is part of the district’s long-term facilities master plan, aimed at modernizing aging infrastructure, improving building performance, and supporting evolving educational programs through updated, flexible learning environments.
In addition to building improvements, the project features extensive site upgrades to enhance safety, accessibility, and campus functionality. Improvements include expanded parking areas, upgrades to the practice field, new pedestrian walking paths, and comprehensive ADA enhancements to improve accessibility across the campus. These site and accessibility improvements support both daily school operations and broader community use, while aligning the campus with modern standards for circulation, inclusivity, and student experience at Penn Wood High School.
