Van Cleef was contracted to perform the biennial NBIS inspection of 130 bridges and 57 sign structures along the Garden State Parkway. Work includes bridge and sign structure inspections, NBE and SI&A updates, FCM inspections, underwater inspections, several LRFR load ratings, UB-60/Significant MPT, RR flagging, NJDOT permits/coordination, courtesy inspections, clearance/sounding sketches, several Category A/Priority conditions, and development of inspection reports thru NJTA’s web-based InspectTech program. Bridge types included FCM thru-girders, FCM girder-floorbeam-stringer, PS Beams, concrete arches, multi-steel plate girders.
