Van Cleef was contracted to provide various survey services in support of utility infrastructure improvements. The work included locating twenty four (24) aerial control targets for Photogrammetric Mapping; High Definition Laser Scanning of two (2) bridges – Riverview Drive over a Norfolk Southern industrial spur and Riverview Drive over NJ Route 46; Utility Locations and inverts for approximately 6 miles of roadway; Bathymetric Survey of two potential crossings of the Peckman River; tree and wetlands locations; boundary resolution for 5 detail areas; and miscellaneous Right of Way/ Easement stake out. In addition to standard PDF plans, the survey data was provided as Civil3D pipe networks of all existing utilities, GIS Shape files of all utility structures, and two (2) point clouds of the bridges to be used by design engineers. The work required coordination between Van Cleef and multiple municipal, and private utility agencies as well as NJDOT to obtain permits for access and lane closures on Route 46.
