Van Cleef was contracted to assist the district to support the comprehensive redevelopment of the East Brunswick High School track and stadium. This project delivered a modern, high-performance athletic facility designed to meet the needs of student-athletes while maximizing functionality and long-term durability.​

The project included the full reconstruction of the existing 400-meter running track, upgrading it from a 6-lane configuration with an 8-lane straightaway to a state-of-the-art system featuring a premier, solid, pre-manufactured synthetic running surface. This enhancement provides improved safety, performance, and longevity for competitive and recreational use.​

In addition, the natural grass infield was replaced with a multi-purpose synthetic turf field, strategically striped to accommodate a variety of sports programs. This upgrade ensures increased field availability, reduced maintenance, and consistent playing conditions throughout the year.​

To further enhance site performance, Van Cleef designed innovative subsurface stormwater management solutions integrated within the infield. These systems effectively meet regulatory stormwater requirements while minimizing the need for additional above-ground infrastructure, optimizing the use of available space.
