Van Cleef was contracted by Solebury School to provide site improvements in support of a major addition. The project site for the private Solebury School is located at the corner of Phillips Mill Road and School Lane on an 87 acre site in Solebury Township. The program elements for the school consisted of a new gymnasium and maintenance building on the eastern side of the property, as well as a regulation size track with a full-size soccer and field-hockey field located inside the track just north of the new gymnasium. Required parking facilities were also added to this portion of the site. The new math and science classroom facility was also added to the central portion of the site and a large stormwater management facility was designed between the two new buildings, as well as connecting walkways between the two new facilities. On the far western portion of the site, three Facility Housing Duplexes were added along the driveway leading to three existing single-family faculty houses.
Van Cleef was responsible for engineering design and obtaining permits, as well as conceptual design layout and ordinance evaluation, landscape and lighting design, public hearing presentation, site surveying and project management. Van Cleef provided a full suite of professional services, including site surveying, civil site design, stormwater management, landscape architecture, site lighting design, permitting, and construction administration and observation. The team also supported the project through active participation in public meetings, ensuring clear communication and successful project delivery.
