Van Cleef was contracted by the Hopewell Valley Regional School District to provide survey, geotechnical evaluation, design and construction administration services for the reconstruction of the District’s six (6) tennis courts. ​

​The Varsity and JV Tennis Courts at Timberlane Middle School have been repaired numerous times since they were constructed 40+ years ago. Preliminary site inspections showed that the cracking and ponding throughout all six (6) courts had become so significant that they presented a tripping hazard and effected match play. ​

​The project primarily consisted of full demolition of the existing courts, re-grading of playing area, new asphalt surface, perimeter concrete curb, in-ground tennis equipment, vinyl coated fencing and ADA access to tennis courts. ​

​The new tennis courts meet current ITF and NJSIAA standards.
