Van Cleef represented Barnegat Township as their GIS Consultant for Sanitary Sewer System. Van Cleef processed existing information the township was in possession of and created a complete database and interactive web map application, which enabled the Township to monitor and manage the infrastructure of the municipality, this included 2668 manholes, 2625 pipelines, 29 pump stations, sanitary vents, valves, and blowoffs. Using an interactive dashboard as the control center, Barnegat can better utilize their team, process work orders, highlight problem areas and keep track of property history. This combination of data driven decision making and intuitive visualization of large datasets has enabled the township to handle their workload more effectively. 

Due to the success of this project, Van Cleef was also awarded GIS Consultant for their water system as well, replicating and expanding the GIS system for both.
