Van Cleef was selected to provide comprehensive Land Development Design for the Richland Walk project—a 53‑acre site located across from Richland Commerce Drive and adjacent to the Heather Valley/Richland Farm community in Richland Township.
The project transforms the tract into a residential neighborhood featuring 104 high‑end townhouse units, while preserving the property’s historic farmhouse. The design emphasizes environmental stewardship and community character, with more than 75% of the site maintained as open space to create a balanced, sustainable development.
To support the new neighborhood, the plan incorporates off‑street parking areas, several of which are engineered with integrated underground stormwater management systems. Van Cleef’s work encompassed the full spectrum of project needs, including boundary and topographic surveying, site layout and engineering design, preparation of complete land development plans, and the development of the landscape architecture and site lighting program. The team also managed all public presentations and municipal approvals, along with the coordination and submission of required environmental permits.
This comprehensive approach ensures that Richland Walk will emerge as a well‑designed, environmentally responsible community that complements the surrounding landscape and enhances the local township.
