Van Cleef was contracted by William Penn School District to provide civil engineering services for the Penn Wood High School Cypress Street Campus Renovations & Expansion project, located at 600 Cypress Street in Yeadon Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The project included the renovation of the existing 75,000-square-foot school building and construction of a new three-story addition with an approximately 5,000-square-foot footprint. This work supports the district’s long-term initiative to modernize educational facilities, improve building functionality, and enhance the learning environment for students at Penn Wood High School.
Site improvements were designed to improve safety, circulation, and accessibility across the campus and included expanded parking areas, modifications to vehicular circulation with a new student drop-off route, and comprehensive ADA upgrades. Van Cleef provided land development and surveying services, stormwater management design, erosion and sedimentation controls, landscape design, and permitting and approvals support, as well as construction-phase services. These improvements enhance daily campus operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accessibility standards for students, staff, and visitors.
