Van Cleef was contracted by The Pennington School for site plan design of The Pennington Schools overall master plan. One key component of this effort included designing a new porch for the historic Old Main Building, located at the gateway to campus. Originally constructed in the mid‑1800s and situated within the Borough of Pennington’s historic district, the building required a sensitive and context‑appropriate approach. Throughout the approval process, the design team collaborated closely with the Pennington Borough Historic Preservation Commission to ensure the porch design reflects the architectural heritage of Old Main while enhancing its prominence within the heart of Pennington.
