Our Transportation Division provides a full-range of structural services including the design and analysis of bridges, culverts, sign structures, retaining walls, cofferdams, and all related transportation-type structures. With over 50 years of experience in bridge replacement, rehabilitation, and design, we have completed over 100 bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including emergency replacements, for NJDOT, NJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, PennDOT, and various counties in New Jersey. Previous bridge designs have included prestressed concrete, composite steel girders (rolled and built-up), precast concrete rigid frames and culverts, glue laminated timber and prefabricated welded steel trusses with steel or timber floor systems. Many of these projects incorporated historic/aesthetic features into the design due to the historic significance of a bridge or its locale.
