Emergency Rehabilitation of Bridge E-04 on CR 631 Over Wallkill River

Borough of Franklin| Sussex County, NJ​

Van Cleef was contracted by the County of Sussex to develop complete bid plans and technical specifications for the emergency rehabilitation of Sussex County Bridge E-04 located on County Route 631 (Franklin Avenue) over the Wallkill River in the Borough of Franklin.

Work effort includes an Alternatives Analysis, including innovative, value-engineered design options for construction that provide a durable, low-maintenance structure with context sensitive design; All Engineering design, as required to complete project; Special Provisions, Engineer’s Estimate and Bid Proposal for bidding/construction; Preparation of drawings for bidding/construction; Critical Path Method (CPM) Construction Schedule; Engineering/Studies as required to obtain all NJDEP Permits, i.e. Flood Hazard, Freshwater Wetland, Highland’s Applicability Determination and/or HPAA, Executive Order 215 Determination and/or EO 215 Environmental Impact Statement; Stream channel stabilization and scour protection measures; Survey work as required to complete project and its individual tasks, excluding the following: ROW surveying, deed research to provide the source document of the existing right-of-way and deed, and preparation of parcel maps with documents for required easements and/or right-of-way.
